Returning for a second year, Peter brought with him a similar blend of comedy and magic, but a completely different show from the previous year, since much of the audience had seen him the year before.
This began a tradition of innovation and brainstorming each year for the Fair, coming up with new tricks and routines that the audiences had never seen before, so that even if they had seen other magicians (including Peter), they were sure to get a unique and entertaining show.
With a consistent stage and show schedule, Peter was able to do slightly more elaborate tricks than were possible in people's living rooms and backyards, a tradition that continues at Shazam's Fair show today.
