Thanks again for giving us a great show on Sunday! For the kids, it was the talk of the day back at school on Monday.

The kids really liked you, and quite frankly so did the adults. You were very funny and that is what made your act good ... we will be in touch with you for our next children's party.

Ohhh Man is Google Awesome

So, I continue to love Google. Their #1 search engine is only the tip of the iceburg. GoogleTalk, their answer to AOL’s Instant Messenger, continues to make amazing strides. Voicemail features, a file transfer system, and a really nice interface. GoogleVideo continues to amaze me with load times and an easy portal to all types of videos. Google is just too cool.

The Illusionist

Ok, so as a magician, people expect me to be on top of my game. Nothing is safe: Harry Potter, David Blaine, or Uncle Morty pulling a quarter from your ear. So I try to at least be in tune with the magic-themed stuff that’s going on in the media.

I’m very much looking forward to the upcoming “The (Noun)” magician movies, The Illusionist and The Prestige. The former of these two ( http://www.theillusionist.com/ ) comes out tomorrow, and the trailer looks quite slick. Both films have good actors, and appear to be set in that classic magical era between 1850 and 1920. Additionally, I checked out some clips of The Illusionist on YouTube, and several references to magical principles were quite accurate. Not to the point of giving away secrets, but enough to make myself as a magician appreciate the effort. Thoughts? Ideas? Post ‘em here, that’s the beauty of a blog.
